🏞 7 Things You Must Do at Seoul Olympic Park

From biking and picnics to swimming—my personal healing hideaway!

✍ Introduction

Is there a place in Seoul where you can enjoy nature, art, and peace all at once? Yes, there is—Olympic Park in Songpa-gu. With different scenery in every season and a wide range of activities, it’s a perfect spot for couples, families, or even solo strolls. I personally visit this park on my bike almost every day—it's that special to me. Today, I’d love to share my personal experiences and introduce you to some of the most enjoyable things to do in Olympic Park.

✅ 1. Biking Through Nature, Every Day Feels New

I absolutely love riding my bike through Olympic Park every day. The cool breeze and the tall trees make for the perfect route. Sometimes, I bring a book and a bottle of water, sit on a bench, and read in the shade—or take a short nap. These simple moments bring so much comfort and warmth to my daily life.

✅ 2. Tandem Bikes for Family Fun

The park offers 2- to 4-seater family bikes, which make outings with my husband so much fun. We couldn’t use them for a while because of our young child, but this year we’re finally able to ride together as a family—and I’m really excited! It’s a must-try if you’re visiting with kids.

✅ 3. World Peace Gate and the Sculpture Garden

The famous World Peace Gate at the entrance is a striking landmark, perfect for memorable photos. Right nearby is the sculpture garden, where you can enjoy modern art pieces as you walk around. It adds a lovely cultural touch to your nature stroll.

✅ 4. For Sports Lovers: Olympic Sports Center

Another one of my favorite places is the Olympic Sports Center. It has a full-sized Olympic swimming pool where you can enjoy laps or even train in deep-water diving. It’s spacious and parking is relatively easy, too. If you love staying active, don’t miss it!

✅ 5. Seasonal Blooms and Flower Paths

The park is famous for its flowers that bloom through the seasons—cherry blossoms in spring, roses in early summer, and stunning foliage in autumn. During the rose festival, the entire park is filled with fragrance. Whether walking among the blooms or snapping some photos, it’s a peaceful way to spend your day.

✅ 6. Convenient Facilities and Delicious Bites

Convenience stores are scattered throughout the park, making it easy to grab a quick snack. Around the south gate, you’ll find hidden food gems. Personally, I love Paris Croissant—their brunch menu is great, and their cakes are so beautiful it almost feels wrong to eat them.
